Android 4.4.1 Now Testing for Nexus 4,nexus 5,nexus 7 by Google
With the launch of Nexus 5, Google also
showcased Android 4.4 kitkat which was then released for the Nexus
devices including the Nexus 4, 7, 10 and also the Play editions of
flagships from both Samsung and HTC i.e. Galaxy S4 and the One, last
month .
Now It seems that Google has started testing Android 4.4.1 the next
minor version of Android 4.4 Kitkat on Nexus 4, 5, and 7. The news
became evident from the fact that these test builds appeared on
9to5Google’s website analytics reports, with IP addresses originating
from Google. Along the same lines, there’s also a rumour that the Google
Play edition of the HTC One will also be receiving 4.4.1 (KOT49E) in
the “near future.”

Unfortunately, As of now its not really
clear what Google has in store for us with this release. Previously,
Google mentioned that the Android camera app would see some significant
upgrades such as RAW capture and burst mode in coming version. However
from past experience it is very unlikely that Google will make such a
revolutionary update in a minor release as these releases generally tend
to include more of bug fixes then features.
